The only large obstacle to world peace is the Empire of lies and constant war. The fascist combination of Militarism and corporatism as hegemon. That talk of peace has ended many lives. JFK, RK, MLK, and many others.

Yes, and not noted are the genetic mutations of American soldiers in Iraq exposed to those nuclear 'tipped' weaponry. Their children began to be born with the same horrific mutations in Iraqi babies.

US is not free from the consequences of its hegemonic policies.

When I first read the title of this article I was elated that you might be endorsing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president. Imagine Kennedy as president and Kucinich as head of the state department or a new Department of Peace. Please endorse and support Kennedy for president along with teaching people that most of what the the mainstream media covers is a press release from pharmaceutical companies and the military/industrial complex.

Thank you, Dennis, for speaking out so passionately on this important issue. We can't afford to have a nuclear war. Ever. Nuclear radiation doesn't discriminate and nuclear winter will kill off life on Earth. It's so obvious that you wonder what is wrong with people who act eager to start a nuclear conflict. Are they suicidal? Homicidal? Psychopathic? Sociopathic? All of the above?

Nuland, Blinken and Biden - hawks, all three. Nuland - presided over the 2014 USA aided coup in Ukraine. Blinken is as good as his name in the Dept of Diplomacy. Biden - wears a 1950 Cold War Russia as USA nemesis lens and is an old foggy stuck in the past and appears impressed by his own tough guy persona when he's not hail fellow bi partisan back slappin' pal of Republicans which worked in the '60's and '70's before Gingrich declared war on the Democratic Party as being the number 1 enemy personified. I'm his age cohort. He's over the hill. Stuck and stale.

Do not forget Vasily Aleksandrovich Arkhipov, the soviet officer in the nuclear armed submarine off Cuba during the blockade who decided not to fire the nuc. We have had too many close calls. It is time to put an end to nuclear weapons.

JFK tried to stand up to the Evil that was already going on in the 60's... And he was assassinated.

Now another Kennedy being offered up as a sacrifice to the Gods of Psychopathology and Eugenics?

REALLY?

Not to mention that trying to get virtue from a corrupt body run by psychopathic eugenicist oligarchs seems like a REALLY STUPID IDEA to me! It's like asking the wolf at the door (sorry, wolves) to please come in and make sure the three little pigs are safely tucked into bed...

The American "system" of mostly everything is BROKEN. Do we go to the CRIMINALS who broke/break it and ask them to fix it? Uh, no.

I think the solution is to GO LOCAL. END the Medical Industrial Complex, END the Military Industrial Complex, END the FED, END the central govt., and END the ever-fucking Central BANKS... That's just getting started.

Peace, love, and WAKEY WAKEY. Can you smell the EVIL? This is the end of the old paradigm and the beginning of a New Paradigm, and we need to get WISE about all this. OBviously, the "old ways" don't WORK.

Since JKF every politician who has opposed the MIC(let the I do double duty for industrial and intelligence today) has been beaten. After the Cuban Crisis JFK became passionately antinuclear proliferation. Nixon. With all of his flaws got us out of Vietnam and was working on defending the intelligence community when they got to him first. Since then the only president to not start a war and decrease our militarism was DJT. My point is, don't be fooled. Which side of the aisle someone sits on, or what their positions are on many issues important in their own right, are all secondary to the fight against the demons who have seized our once free country, I call them Empire and Arsenal and until they are exorcised any other political acts we do are meaningless.

Thank you for this thoughtful and heartfelt article.

I'm sorry I missed getting your contact information at the recent event in Austin. I am still working on developing the independent political movement which includes working folks within the major parties and minors too -- with a view to move to the outside of parties, aka an independent political movement.

I would love to catch up. Reach me through the League of Independent Voters of Texas at LIVTX.org. Thank you for your years of peaceful and principled leadership, Dennis! Linda Curtis

I missed Dennis' introduction of RFK,Jr. when he announced in Boston that he would run for president in 2024. Does anyone know how I can get a copy of Dennis' introduction? (I worked for Dennis' campaign in 2004, (NJ) and am so excited that Dennis is now helping to elect RFK,Jr.!)
